Reach Madikeri overnight by vehicle, a 6hrs drive from Bangalore, 3hrs from Mysore. Freshen up and hit the road early to enjoy riding blind in the all-enveloping morning fog. Spend the night in a plantation stay or resort. Stop biking early on second day to enjoy the lakes and the river, before departing. This ride can be a great family vacation by arriving a day early, letting you visit the imposing Golden Temple and to spend some time in the elephant camp.
