Day1: Arrival Day
Land in Bangalore, Rest & Recuperation, Tour Briefing
 
Day2: Deccan Plateau Acclimatization Ride
Long ride on smooth roads to get familiar with the machine, the roads, the traffic and the climate of South India.
Bangalore to Coimbatore, 300km, smooth high speed highway, moderate traffic.
 
Day3: Hilly Terrain Ride
Travel across hills and valleys to the lush green Kerala countryside. Stop over at a 200year old mansion.
Coimbatore to Palakkad via the mountains, 200km, undulating terrain, mostly smooth roads, one downhill section, moderate traffic.

Day4: Mountains & Teagarden Ride
Visit the Kalamandalam Dance School, where the ancient dance forms of Kerala are preserved and taught by the masters.
Travel the crowded roads towards the mountains, and finish the ride through the tea carpeted slopes of the Western Ghats.
Palakkad to Wayanad, 200km, moderate but fast traffic, smooth roads, 15km mountain climb, winding roads.

Day5: Local Ride Day
Spend the day relaxing over the hill highways, enjoying a bamboo raft ride or a session on ayurveda massage.
Local rides, 50km, smooth roads through teacountry.
 
Day6: The Wilderness Adventure Ride
Ride to the wilderness areas, enjoy a jeep safari in the wildlife park, ride through forests, cross a river on your bike on a canoe or a raft, enjoy a bit of offroad riding in the forests, sit down to one of the most delicious meals of your trip.
Wayanad circuit, 160km, adventure sections.
 
Day7: The Coastal Plains Ride
Ride downhill from the mountains to the coastal plains though the villages and towns of Kerala to reach the coast, and spend the evening at a temple enjoying the stunning 'theyyam' an ancient possession dance performed in temples. Stop at a dense forest on the way to learn a few tricks of survival in the evergreen jungles of India.
Wayanad to Kannur, 120km, 15km mountain downhill, narrow backroads, very undulating and winding terrain, dense traffic.
 
Day8: The Coastal Ride
Enjoy the sun, the surf and the sand on this bright and sunny day on the beaches. Enjoy a morning theyyam, and then visit some of the monuments dating back to the early colonial period, listen to the history of the spice trade centered in these ports, ride over to a long desolate stretch of beach to end the day.
Kannur to Neeleshwar, 120km, dense traffic on smooth 2lane highways, some offroad sections through villages.
 

Day9: The Coffee Country Ride
Ride back up the Western Ghats to enter the coffee plantation country and reach a wildlife area by end of day.
Neeleshwar to Coorg, 200km, 25km mountain climb over rough roads, narrow roads, moderate traffic.
 

Day10: The Monastery & Palace Ride
Coast from the wildlife area to a Tibetan monastery right out of the movies, and then proceed to the city of wondrous palaces.
Coorg to Mysore, 150km, elephant bathing, Tibetan monastery, palaces and temples

Day11: The Temples Ride
Ride across the Deccan to some of the most impressive temples of ancient India, structures that took centuries to complete.
Mysore to Hassan, and then to Belur & Halebid, 200km, easy roads and easy terrain.

Day12: The Farewell Ride
Go flat out on the smooth highway heading back to Bangalore, with a stop at the huge monolith of an ancient king and saint.
Hassan to Bangalore, 250km, smooth roads, dense traffic towards the end.

Day13: Bangalore Departure Day
Rest & Recuperation. Take a vehicle to Chennai, 6hrs away.

Day14: The Factory Visit Day
Visit the factory that made the machines you rode on, the one and only Royal Enfield factory in existence, where the machines are hand assembled in the traditional way.
 
Day15: Departure Day
Fly out of Chennai on an early morning flight.


Accommodations - A comfortable large format hotel or resort with the required capacity and service levels.
Cuisine - All meals will be delicious traditional Kerala fare. Trail food will be rolls, fruits and energy bars. Non-vegetarian option available.
Logistics - End to end transport covered, with pick up and drop ex-Bangalore /Kozhikode. The vehicles will depend on group size and budget.
Inclusions - All meals from Arrival Day Tea to Departure Day Lunch; ex-Bangalore /Kozhikode transport; accommodation; Guides, Fees, Permits.
Exclusions - Personal shopping, entertainment, medications.
Options & Extensions - Ayurveda massages sessions can be arranged on prior notice. Visit to a tile factory, a clay pottery workshop and artists studio etc may be possible.
