We’re writing about a couple of home stays and plantation stays this month. If you’re ever visiting Wayanad, then these are some options. Of course, there are many more, but these are the ones we’ve personally visited and experienced and we’re sure you’ll have a lovely stay too. Located in a quiet village of Pozuthana, the Pranavam plantation stay is run by Mr Ravindran K and his wife Rama. As you climb up a flight of stairs (covered with a carpet of green moss and fringed by bushes and trees), you feel you’re entering some kind of paradise.
Suddenly, as you heave yourself over the last step, you see before you a house, built in the Kerala style of architecture, with a verandah in front. This is the main house where Mr Ravindran and his wife reside. This is also where all your meals get served.
